A group of researchers has stated that this dissertation is one of the works of Ima`m al-Reza`, peace be on him.

Centre of Divine Gravity in Iran

By: Seyyed Ali ShahbazYesterday, millions of mourners converged on Mashhad to pay homage at the mausoleum that stands out as the most blessed spot on Iranian soil. They came from all over Iran and from every strata of society. Among those beating their chests in grief were visitors from different lands, some of whom who stood out in their traditional native clothes such as the faithful from Arab lands and the subcontinent. Others with distinctive features or skin colour indicated they were from Central Asia and Africa respectively. Whatever their ethnicity or the language these few spoke, these Muslims were unanimous with the Iranian masses in the rhythmic cry of "Ya Imam Reza."

The Term "Shia" in Quran and Hadith

The word "Shia" means "followers; members of party". As such, the term "Shia" alone has no negative or positive meaning unless we specify the leader of the party. If one is a Shia (follower) of the most righteous servants, then there is nothing wrong with being Shia, specially if the leader of such party has been assigned by Allah. On the other hand, if one becomes the Shia a tyrant or a wrong-doer, he shall meet with the fate of his leader. In fact, Quran indicates that on the day of Judgment people will come in groups, and each group has its leader in front of it. Allah, to whom belong Might and Majesty, said: One day We shall call every group of people by their respective Imams. (Quran 17:71)

Is Imam (a.t.f.s.) Observing Us?

The belief in the Imamat of Ahle Bait (a.s) is the basis of all (other) Islamic beliefs and laws. It is on the basis of this
belief that one can comprehend the accurate and genuine concept of Tauheed. The real grandeur and
magnificence of Prophethood (Nabuwwat) is reflected only in the mirror of this belief. Actions are correctly
performed under the guidance of this doctrine and it forms the basis of acceptance of all actions. The one whos
heart is devoid of this belief will be in a great loss on the Day of Judgment. Salvation and entry in paradise i
restricted to those who subscribe to this belief.

In many religions there is an expectation for a savior to come and help the release from injustice. In Islam it is ‘Mahdawai’ which has a great international philosophy, because Islam is an international religion and Shia in its real meaning is an international factor.

Who are Ahlul Bait?

1. The Meaning of Ahlul Bayt
"Ahlul Bayt" literally means people of the house and it refers to the family or children of a person. In Islamic terminology, it refers to the family of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).
What is the basis of the importance given to the Ahlul Bayt of the Prophet? Is there anything about it in the Qur'an and the sayings of the Prophet? Or is this an old Arab tribal concept with no basis in Islamic sources? The Qur'an and the hadith have a lot to say about the Ahlul Bayt.
